Fantastische Geschichten aus der Bücherzelle – Leseimpro zum Mitmachen am Laurentiusplatz

Schnappt eure aussortierten Bücher und erlebt, wie The Messengers Anne & Jim die Geschichten daraus zu neuem Leben erwecken!

In der Bücherzelle am Penzinger Laurentiusplatz kommen jeden Tag aufs Neue andere Romane und Gedichte, Weltliteratur und Ladenhüter zusammen. Aber auch knifflige Sudokus, Fondue-Kochrezepte und Ratgeber für die täglichen 10-Minuten-TheraBand, die Midlife-Crisis oder Coding mit JavaScript – alles wild durcheinander und mitgebracht von den Leuten aus der Nachbarschaft zum Stöbern und gratis Tauschen. Wir suchen uns vor Ort gemeinsam Textstellen und Stichworte heraus oder schlagen einfach nach dem Zufallsprinzip eine Seite auf – der Rest ist Überraschung! Was hat uns die alte Telefonzelle wohl zu erzählen?

Amazing Stories from the Book Booth – Reading Improv Performance on Laurentiusplatz

Grab your old books and find out how The Messengers Anne & Jim breathe new life into the words and stories they contain!

Each and every day, new novels and poetry arrive at the book booth on Laurentiusplatz in Breitensee, best sellers and non-sellers. But there’s also tricky sudokus, pressure cooker recipes, and how-to handbooks for a ten-minute TheraBand workout, your mid-life crises, or coding with JavaScript – a totally mixed bag of this and that brought by readers from near and far for you to browse and swap with your own books. Together with the Messengers, we’ll pick out some odd passages and keywords on the spot or simply flip open a book at random – the rest is a surprise! What secret messages is this old phone booth going to tell?



Date: Thursday, September 4, 2025, 6 pm – come a bit earlier to show and find your books
