images so far, so near, on 16mm film

Recordings of sounds and images in Silver City, Nevada. Outside and inside ... and going even deeper inside - experimenting with moving devices, rotating microphones, helicoptering soundscapes over the tanks of the Donovan Mill. Chris Crow played tunes from the Highlands, strummed groove from his Mindscapes, poured airwaves from the Soultank - sharing a soundtrack of Zuneigung on his guitar. With generous support by Valery Lyman and the good people of the Donovan Mill, who allowed us two weeks of unabridged access to this wonderful site & beautiful space and who prepared the foundation of a new friendship, for camaraderie, affection and shared experiences in work and art, while helping setting up "Breaking Ground". Thank you all.
