PRODUCTION TIP:
When recording acoustic guitar, be sure not to put your mics too close to the sound hole! This will result in a boomy and undefined low end!

We mostly record acoustic guitar using two small diaphragm condenser microphones in an AB configuration. One pointing to the Bridge and one aimed right at the 12th fret. This will give you lots of clarity and a nice stereo image if needed.
