At the end of the war in 2002, Angola opened its doors to foreign investment giving New African Frontiers SA (NAF) an opportunity to become part of Angola’s campaign against hunger and poverty. NAF made a series of investments to prepare Induve for this new era of development transforming the factory into a state-of-the-art facility with the latest machinery and technology. In 2004 Induve underwent the first phase of reconstruction, installing a corn mill for the production of flour. It was the first mill of its kind in Angola producing corn flour on an industrial scale with a milling capacity of 120,000 MT per year. In 2014 Induve started construction of a wheat flour mill with a capacity of 210,000 MT per year. This is expected to be completed beginning 2016.
