𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆: 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗘𝗢 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 🧑🏻‍💻

Roman here - the founder of eworld. We are a leading eCommerce company with more than 35 shops worldwide, operating for 10 years now.

However, I’m also a dad of 3, with everything that comes with it - school trips, father-child bonding times etc. So let me share 6 tips on how I do both:

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 - This is a universal tip for all busy people. The peace and quiet of the morning allow me to set my mind right, prioritize my tasks and get ready for the day.

𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 - If you want to be present in many aspects of life, you need to learn how to delegate tasks and trust the professionals to do the job. If you surround yourself with the right people, micromanagement will become obsolete.

𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 - Peace of mind is hard to achieve when you have so much on your plate. That’s why it’s so important to take care of your mental health. Personally, I practice various mindfulness and relaxation techniques that help me keep my mind from going into overdrive and eventually burnout.

𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝗲 𝟭𝟬𝟬% 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 - When at work, be fully present there, and try to deal with all the issues and decisions regarding the company. But when at home, fully focus on your family and house - no phones, no work talk, no after-hour meetings.

𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 - Without discipline and careful planning I wouldn’t be able to achieve my goals and finish tasks, regardless if they concern my family or work.

𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 - I try to make sure that my kids see the other side of me, the leader, the entrepreneur - so they know that nothing falls from the sky; you really have to work hard to get what you want. That’s why we have a children’s corner at our office, where everyone is welcome to bring their kids from time to time. I believe that leading by example is the best way to teach anyone, especially our kids.

To succeed in both I try to use my resources wisely. Moms know how to get the hang of multitasking, as it’s the only way we can get things done, like combining housework with kids’ homework and not falling behind at work either.

Here are my personal tricks I use to make sure that no aspect of my life is left unattended. 👇

✨𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲

Being a working mom does NOT mean I will be a less productive employee. The secret is that I often need more flexibility in my schedule. Another very helpful option is the Work From Home opportunity for when the kids are sick or some other issues I have to be in the house for.

✨𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

special activities like short weekend trips to nature, visiting museums, and other activities create memories and refresh and kind of restart my brain.

✨𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 “𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲”
Finding time for myself is crucial in maintaining inner peace and balance within the hectic environment of work and home life. I love having beauty days and being alone in nature, to make sure I have the right focus and state of mind.

✨𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹
I have learned to feel confident in saying no to a whole bunch of things so I can focus on the few things that matter: my family and work. Plus, it keeps me sane, knowing it’s ok NOT to be a super-woman, and I never feel guilty about it.

When I’m at work, I concentrate only on work and never think of work when I’m with my family.

All of the above-mentioned tactics I have learned along the way of having 3 children while working full time at eworld. I am very happy the management is so family-centric here, and we have come up with a system that works for everyone.
