Սեպտեմբերի 30-ից հոկտեմբերի 2-ը Տրանս Անձանց Իրավունքների Պաշտպանության Գլոբալ Հիմնադրամի թիմը հնարավորություն ունեցավ զարգացնելու իրենց հմտությունները Women’s Fund Armenia-ի ֆինանսական աջակցության շնորհիվ:

Սեմինարները, որոնք ներառում էին մի շարք թեմաներ, ներառյալ շահերի պաշտպանության մարտավարություն, քաղաքականության մշակում, PR և կոմունիկացիա, ֆոնդհայթայթում և այլն, կարևոր դեր ունեցան մեր կազմակերպչական կարողությունների զարգացման հարցում։

Ձեռք բերված գիտելիքները ոչ միայն տեսական են, այլ ծառայում են որպես գործնական հիմք, որը էապես կնպաստի մեր ընթացիկ և ապագա աշխատանքներին։

Մեր շնորհակալությունն ենք հայտնում Հայաստանում կանանց հիմնադրամին՝ անսասան նվիրվածության և աջակցության համար։ Նրանց ֆինանսական օգնությունը ոչ միայն զարգացրել է մեր կազմակերպչական հնարավորությունները, այլև վճռորոշ դեր է խաղացել տարածաշրջանում տրանս շարժման առաջխաղացման գործում:

From September 30th to October 2nd, the Global Foundation for Trans Rights Protection team had the invaluable opportunity to enhance their skills, thanks to the financial support of Women's Fund Armenia. The seminars, encompassing a range of topics including advocacy tactics, policy making, PR and communication, fundraising, and more, were instrumental in strengthening our organizational capacities.

The knowledge acquired during these sessions is not merely theoretical but serves as a practical foundation that will significantly contribute to our ongoing and future work. The insights gained into effective advocacy strategies, nuanced policy development, and adept communication practices will undoubtedly empower our team to navigate the complexities of the transgender rights landscape with greater efficacy.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Women’s Fund Armenia for their unwavering commitment and support. Their financial assistance has not only enriched our organizational capabilities but has also played a crucial role in advancing the transgender movement within the region.

As a grantee of the the sub-grant program implemented with the financial support of the Red Umbrella Fund, The Global Foundation for Trans Rights Protection will implement the program “Raising Awareness of Trans S*x Workers to Have a Safe and Harmonious Life”, within the framework of which a seminar will be organized, which will bring together 15 trans s*x workers from Yerevan and RA regions. During the seminar, a discussion will be held about the issues related to the safety and well-being of s*x workers in Armenia.

Տրանս անձանց իրավունքների պաշտպանության գլոբալ հիմնադրամը՝ որպես Կարմիր Հովանոց հիմնադրամի ֆինանսական աջակցությամբ իրականացվող ենթադրամաշնորհային ծրագրի հաղթողներից մեկը, իրականացնելու է «Բարձրացնել Տրանս սեքս աշխատող անձանց իրազեկվածությունը՝ անվտանգ և ներդաշնակ կյանք ունենալու նպատակով» ծրագիրը, որի շրջանակում կազմակերպվելու է սեմինար, որը կհամախմբի 15 տրանս սեքս աշխատող անձանց Երևանից և ՀՀ մարզերից։ Սեմինարի ընթացքում կքննարկվեն Հայաստանում սեքս աշխատողների անվտանգությանը և բարեկեցությանն առնչվող հարցերը։

As the first and the only foundation in the region that is aimed at solving trans issues, we highly value international cooperations that strengthen the trans movement.

Soon, as we quickly expand the scope of our work, the Foundation itself will have a membership application, which can be joined by LGBIQ and Trans organizations, independent activists, foundations from South Caucasus, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
