🌟📚🇦🇮 2nd ANGUILLA GIRLS’ BRIGADE THANK YOU TO AUTHOR/STORYTELLER MR. IVOR HODGE🎈
The 2nd Anguilla Girls’ Brigade extends a Grand GB Salute and Thank You to Anguillian author and storyteller, Mr. Ivor Hodge, for taking the time to share with them on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
Mr. Hodge captivated the Girls with a selection of short stories, excerpts from one of his books, and fascinating old-time stories about growing up in Anguilla. Through his engaging storytelling, the Girls gained a deeper appreciation for Anguillian culture and the importance of preserving and passing down the tradition of storytelling from one generation to the next.
A special highlight of the afternoon was the presentation of a signed copy of one of Mr. Hodge’s books to Senior Brigader Destiny Brookes.🥰
Thank you, Mr. Hodge, for taking the time to share your stories and experiences. It was an entertaining, educational and enriching afternoon that will be remembered for years to come!
