Bayat Power extends gas supply deal with Afghan Gas

Bayat Power has renewed its natural gas supply agreement with Afghan Gas, securing the continued production of 40 megawatts of electricity for the next ten years.

Addressing the Green Growth Forum in Kabul, which was organized by a number of partners including UNAMA and UNDP, Bayat Power officials on Thursday highlighted the company’s use of domestic natural gas to generate reliable, round-the-clock power, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening Afghanistan’s energy infrastructure and economic resilience.
