The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) is now the Capital Market Authority (CMA), and this name change comes with important updates for UAE businesses.
Effective 1 January 2026, the CMA’s role expands across capital market regulation, licensing, supervision, and investor protection.
Regulated entities must regularize their position by 1 January 2027.
