In November, the Abu Dhabi Residents Office (ADRO), in partnership with Majalis, hosted a cultural experience for Golden Visa holders that brought together community, tradition, and shared learning. The experience began at Majlis Al Wathba, where Emiratis and residents gathered to connect, exchange stories, and learn about the values that shape Emirati culture.
Guests explored a cultural journey through interactive stations such as The Falaj, The Falcon, The Oasis, The Tent, and The Gahwa Workshop, each offering a glimpse into a different element of the UAE’s heritage, from desert ecosystems to traditional coffee-making and the art of storytelling.
From the Majlis, participants continued their journey to Ezba Experience, where they explored life in the desert through immersive cultural activities. Guests learned the art of preparing Arabic coffee (gahwa), discovered the cultural significance of falconry and desert animals, and engaged in storytelling and hands-on experiences that reflect the richness of Emirati heritage.
The Majalis and Ezba experiences brought together Golden Visa holders from diverse backgrounds, creating meaningful moments rooted in belonging, culture, and community. These experiences reflect ADRO’s ongoing commitment to fostering deeper connections between residents and the local traditions that continue to shape Abu Dhabi’s identity.
The next Ezba cultural experience for Golden Visa holders will take place on Saturday 31 January 2026 and is free of charge and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Golden Visa holders are welcome to attend with their families.
To register your interest, please share the names and ages of all family members who wish to attend, and ADRO will respond with confirmation and further details.
