We are pleased to introduce Sreeprakash Krishnamurthy who recently joined Tomini Shipping as a Technical Superintendent!

Sreeprakash holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and has over 10 years of sailing experience, he sailed with Anglo-Eastern and recently sailed as Chief Engineer on one of our vessels Tomini Alize before coming ashore.

Tomini Group is proud to share its long-term partnership with The Citizens Foundation providing quality education for the underprivileged in Pakistan. One of the main pillars of Tomini's social impact program is education as we believe in its power to address social inequality and lift generations out of poverty.

Together with TCF, we have built 3 Tomini campuses (TCF schools) and provided funding for one more campus in 2021 as well as operational running costs of all Tomini campuses. In 2022, we established the University Scholarship Program which will fund the University education of bright students from underprivileged backgrounds. To date, Tomini has supported the TCF for more than two decades and educated 10,280 children.

Our teams in Dubai came together to mark the end of another great year; an opportunity to glam up, let our hair down, and take over the dancefloor, where the ‘dance-offs’ were a tad competitive – Hell Yes! Thanks to Anantara World Island for a wonderful evening! Until next year!

Zero Waste is an international advocacy campaign held every first week of September that aims to guide in changing lifestyles and practices towards a sustainable environment in an ethical, economical and efficient way. The ultimate goal of the initiative is to reduce landfill waste and explore recycling opportunities.

We at Tomini care about the environment and want to contribute where possible. This week we are joining Zero Waste Campaign and challenging ourselves to live a more eco-friendly lifestyle both at work and in our households.

One of the easy guides we like to follow is the five R’s strategy - Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose and Recycle. This practical reference gives us a new framework for dealing with waste in our lives, in part by helping us acknowledge the habits that lead to more unnecessary waste.
