Review :
This is an adorable and fluffy slow-burn romance that follows a pop star running away from the stress and pressure of her celebrity life to a tiny town, where fate (and an unfortunate car breakdown) lands her at the doorstep of a grumpy pie shop owner 🥧

We get to see their story unfold as he struggles with his hesitation toward relationships, thanks to a painful past, only to eventually fall head over heels for her.

However, this one might not be everyone’s cup of tea. If you’re into slow-burn romance but prefer something spicier, this might feel a bit too tame or flat.

That said, I really liked the sweet and cozy vibes. There’s no unnecessary drama or over-the-top spice, making it a perfect “break read.” While it might not be a must-read for me, it’s still a delightful escape. I’ll definitely be picking up more of Sarah Adams’ books!
