Listen up Small Businesses - It’s World Mental Health Day! 📣

Recently, I’ve seen a lot of small businesses complaining about their presence on social media. From having to continuously and relentlessly add to their stories and create drafts for future posts for days and weeks ahead (I’m guilty of this!) all because of the fear of “if we don’t, people will forget about us”! 🤦🏽‍♂️

I’m a perfectionist in all that I do for LimeSpace Designs, but I’m slowly trying to take it at my own pace for my own mental health💆🏽‍♂️. The added pressures of social media presence sometimes take away the fun of my actual work and feeling the need to be a perfectionist on social platforms is such a chore and simply mentally draining however this is something I’m trying to change! 💪🏽

Today is World Mental Health Day, so I just wanted to say to all of you who may be experiencing the same feelings as me - don’t be hard on yourself, don’t burn yourself out and do it at your own pace! Burnout is a real thing, so look after your mental health, listen to YOU and try not to be influenced by social media pressures ✌🏽
