Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven Procurement Officer to manage our company’s procurement activities for Western division.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring cost-effective purchases while maintaining quality standards.
This role requires excellent communication, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be currently located in the UAE and available to join immediately.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proven ability to negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms effectively to achieve cost savings.
• Proficiency in MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience of 2+ years in a procurement or purchasing role
• Knowledge of USA, Canada, South America market suppliers and vendor networks will be an added advantage.

Note: Experience in metal scrap industry will be considered a strong advantage.

We are looking for a Claims Executive who will be responsible for managing and processing claims efficiently, ensuring proper coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and buyers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Timely processing of quality/weight shortage or any other claims raised by Buyers.
• Ensure all claims are handled accurately with complete supporting documentation.
• Coordinate and report to respective team members for buyer and supplier-related matters.
• Ensure accurate understanding of claims from Buyers, including supporting data and claim calculations.
• Ensure all weight shortage claims are applied for insurance coverage.
• Notify suppliers regarding claims after obtaining necessary internal approvals.
• Follow up with suppliers to recover losses and avoid financial deficits.
• Ensure timely and accurate replies to buyers and avoid errors that may compromise the negotiation process.
• Once claim settlements are finalized, follow all necessary accounting procedures, such as creating Debit/Credit Notes.
• Maintain updated records of all claims.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all commercial and operational information.

Required Skills and Competencies:
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of claims handling and documentation(preferred).
Experience of 6-7 years (preferably within GCC region).
Job Type: Full-time | On-site
Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
