Let’s break down Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach to community development. It focuses on identifying and using the existing strengths, skills, and resources within a community to drive development.

Lets talk about Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV):
This refers to harmful behaviors carried out through digital platforms such as social media, messaging apps, or websites.The intention being to harass, threaten, or control individuals, particularly women and girls.
It includes actions like online harassment, cyberstalking, sharing intimate images without consent, “deepfake” exploitation, and doxing (publishing personal information).
TFGBV is gendered in nature, often targeting women and marginalised groups, and is intensified by technology’s ability to spread abuse quickly, widely, and persistently, making its impact on safety, mental health, and reputation especially severe.
