WASTE MANAGEMENT PROJECT LAUNCHED IN LUSAKA
Green Tech Innovations was privileged to have taken part in the launch of the new waste management project that was graced by Permanent Secretary for Lusaka Provincial Administration, Mr. Alex Mapushi.
The initiative is a collaborative effort between Lusaka Integrated Solid Waste Management and ReachAll, a non-governmental organization funded by USAID Zambia, which aims to address the pressing issue of solid waste in the city.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Mapushi emphasized the critical importance of solid waste management for a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable Lusaka.
As Green Tech Innovations, we are happy to not just partner with ReachAll but also to play a role in waste management through innovative solutions such as our recently developed waste bins made from plastic water bottles.
