I respectfully and humbly appeal to the Ministry of Health to consider a more transparent and reassuring approach to the 2025 health worker recruitment. For many applicants, hope has slowly faded following the previous recruitment exercise, where new graduates were employed despite earlier communication that no new applications would be considered. This experience left many long-waiting graduates feeling confused, forgotten, and discouraged.
While opening the process to all is appreciated, I sincerely encourage the Ministry to consider guiding employment by the year of completion. Such an approach would bring order, restore confidence, and renew hope among those who have patiently waited for years, believing that their dedication and perseverance would one day be recognized.
Random selection, though not intentional, often creates fear and doubt, especially among applicants from less privileged backgrounds who have no influence or connections. A clear, time-based system would send a powerful message of fairness, dignity, and equal opportunity, with exceptions only for critical specialist cadres.
I submit this appeal with deep respect and optimism, trusting that the Ministry will choose a path that uplifts morale and reassures every applicant that fairness, compassion, and justice remain at the heart of public service, with the year of completion serving as the primary guide for recruitment.
