The UN Commission on the Status on Women has kicked off in New York with commemorating the 30 years on the Beijing Declaration

The Beijing Declaration is a global policy document adopted at the Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing in 1995, outlining a comprehensive agenda for achieving gender equality and empowering women by addressing 12 critical areas of concern, including education, health, violence against women, economic participation, political leadership, and women's human rights; it is considered a landmark document in the fight for gender equality worldwide.
