Today, 28th January, marks another milestone in WASAReC’s journey toward accelerating access to inclusive, safe, and affordable drinking water.

The Chibolya Water Kiosk Pilot Project was delivered through a strong partnership between WASAReC, Lusaka Water and Sanitation Company, and Viva con Agua, with the cooperation of the Water Trust and community leaders. The project has been implemented at the total cost of K280, 165.

This water kiosk increases community access to water from 6 hours to 13hrs as it will operate throughout the day due to enhancements in terms of the overhead storage and power backup.

Access to safe drinking water in most of Lusaka's peri-urban areas remains a major challenge. Our partnership and collaboration with @ Viva con Agua, Lusaka Water Supply & Sanitation Company and Lusaka Water Security Initiative Secretariat adds to the solution, one community at a time!
