Cross Border Ngoni Heritage

Chief Saili (Chimsakasa Jere) of the Ngoni people of Zambia has arrived in Malawi to deliver funeral message (uthenga Wa Malilo) to Paramount Chief Mbelwa of Malawi. Chief Mbelwa is young brother (cousin) of late Mpezeni IV. In the Ngoni tradition, such funeral message must be delivered in person.
