ping her craft as both a singer and performer. After studying Fashion Communication and Buying at the North West School of Design, Karla gained early recognition as a fashion writer and later joined the editorial teams of BELLA and BLOSS Magazine as a stylist and fashion editor. Her keen eye for creativity eventually led her to launch her own ventures - the skincare brand Nedori Beauty and the fashion and jewellery label Foxy Rare. In 2015, Karla made her acting debut in the feature film Reconnect, followed by several English short films and styling roles behind the scenes. In 2024, she returned to her first love, music -while learning the craft of songwriting music production. That same year, she founded Alternatief in Afrikaans, an independent platform dedicated to celebrating the local alternative Afrikaans scene. What started as a small playlist project has since grown into a vibrant online hub for new artists, releases, and stories within the alternative music space. Karla’s upcoming EP, “Stilte,” captures her artistic rebirth - a raw and honest exploration of loss, faith, and rediscovery. Through her music and creative ventures, she continues to build a voice that values truth over perfection and emotion over expectation.
