Many businesses start a Instagram/Facebook/Twitter account, post for a month, don't see their follower numbers increasing, then walk away. 😫
I get it, it's frustrating.🤬 BUT, similar to a marathon, social media results take commitment. And A LOT of it! 🤓💪 You WILL sloooowly ramp up your following, so don't get discouraged.
BUT (!) there are two ✌️rules to the game:
1. You need to give your audience some kind of value - either entertaining 💃or educational.🤓 2. You have to post consistently - the more the better, as long a the content is good. 🗓️ If you do this✌️thing, sky is the limit. LET'S GOOO! 🙌

Using different sizes, placements and contrasts to highlight more important parts of the text is one of the things I’ve learned since I started working as a social media manager. 🤓⁣

Here are my other top 5 social media graphic design principles & hacks I think all non-designers should know:⁣

1️⃣.Use readable fonts. Never sacrifice a simple readable font for a pretty one that is hard to read. Getting the message accross is the most important thing, design should come second.⁣

2️⃣.Make sure that the graphics aren’t to busy - use this rule:⁣
⁣
Simple text + simple background ✅
Simple text + busy back ground ✅ ⁣
Busy text + busy background ❌⁣
⁣
3️⃣.Choose 2-3 fonts & 2-5 colors and stick to them. Save font names and numbers of colors (HEX or RGB) in your notes and use same ones every time. ⁣

4️⃣.Screenshot cool examples you come accross online, save them and use them as inspiration. ⁣
⁣
5️⃣.Canva templates = (even the free version). 😊You don’t need fancy software to create cool social media graphics anymore. ⁣🙌🏻

And remember - less is almost ALWAYS more in graphic design, so don’t over complicate things. ✨😊⁣

[ STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE ] 🤓

Hey guys! 👋 I couldn't be more excited about Facebook's new update which enables us to schedule Instagram posts DIRECTLY from Facebook! 🙌 FINALLY!

Follow this step-by-step guide:

1️⃣. Go to Facebook creator studio 👇 https://business.facebook.com/creatorstudio/

2️⃣. Connect to your business page to your Instagram profile (if you haven't yet.)

3️⃣. Choose the IG logo on top of the page (in purple or blue).

4️⃣. Click ‘create post’ on the top left of the screen.

5️⃣. Upload your image and caption, hashtags and location

6️⃣. When you’re ready to schedule the post, click on the drop-down arrow, set the date and time and schedule the post.

If you can't see the 'create post' button, you don't have this feature yet. Instagram is still slowly rolling it out, so If you don't have it yet, you likely will soon.🙌✨
