How the other half live! This first photo was taken in the Sterling Suite I wasn’t staying in this 10k a night suite! (I take you on a tour in my latest vlog, link in bio⬆️) But I have history that makes this hotel part of my youth and very special to me…….
➡️My first job at 18 was across the road at the BBC. I worked in a department called News Information!
➡️ The Beeb taught me to touch type on a typewriter like this one in the Langham Club. I still type really fast and hate using my thumbs to type in here…..
➡️The BBC Club was just across the road where the Langham is. I spent many a happy evening there! (After the war the BBC bought the building to use as offices)
➡️ So, to this day The Langham is still very special to me and I save up for an annual stay. They’re very good to me and always throw in extras, like brekkie and dinner …….
➡️ And on this visit I was gifted the most amazing facial at the Chuan Spa.
My 2 night stay was like a proper city break and much needed after looking after Jack through the winter! Many thanks to Wendy for the fab first photo and my very special stay. I always feel like I’m coming home and it’s the people who make it so special.
