New deadline looms for energy performance compliance for building owners - Property24 A substantial proportion of South Africa’s non-residential buildings will be required to submit and display an Energy Performance Certificate come 7 December 2022. And a fine of up to R5 million and/or imprisonment for up to five years is possible for non-compliance.
