In the quiet hours before dawn's light,
A woman rises, her spirit bright.
With tender care, she starts her day,
A silent warrior in every way.

By 4 AM, her world awakes,
With love she gives, and never takes.
Back to sleep, the world may fall,
But she stands steadfast, through it all.

Into the kitchen, she moves with grace,
Morning devotion finds its place.
By 6 AM, the children stir,
She readies them with love and care.

By 7 AM, the table's set,
No detail does she ever forget.
Off to school, the children go,
To her office, she moves slow.

At 2 PM, she's there again,
For school runs in the sun or rain.
By 5 or 6, she's home once more,
To tasks that wait, a never-ending chore.

Clothes to wash, dinner to make,
No pause, no rest, no time to take.
By 7:30, dinner's served,
From her path, she never swerved.

Homework next, from 8 till 9,
No complaint, she won't resign.
By 9:30, she meets her mate,
With a smile, though it's late.

The children checked, the lights turned low,
She prays for all, a soft, warm glow.
Midnight finds her on her knees,
For her family, she asks with please.

A little sleep, then up by four,
To start her loving toil once more.
Through pain and joy, she stands so tall,
A life-giver, a mother, she's all.
