The purpose behind the clubs foundation was mostly around social cohesion and recreation as cycling brings different people from different backgrounds, races, cultures and religion together. Based on the interest generated by the club in the Mamelodi community the club decided to start a cycling development programme that is targeted at young cyclists between the ages 10 to 18 years of age during
