This post goes as far back as July 2021, almost 4 years ago. This was one of my very first campaigns with 💚 I loved & enjoyed every minute creating for this brand, the mistakes & the wow moments, NO CAP!
As I continue to share my journey in the catering & food influencer space, with the hope of inspiring individuals who are just starting, contemplating & procrastinating🥺
Hear me out, ke tswa daar, and I'm still there, just evolving into a different angle and exploring on a more broader spectrum🔍
Listen;
• Content creation is not easy (yes you've heard that before but I'll say it again), the beginning is always the toughest. But I always say, baby steps, make mistakes it's ok, you're supposed to. Don't be too hard on yourself.
• Do not compare yourselves with established creators, don't. You and that person are in a completely different era, comparison is a recipe for disaster. I said "Comparison, not COMPETITION". But also, DON'T compete, stay in your lane & do you, focus on you and building YOUR brand. Yes, draw inspiration, but don't compete.
•Understand this, no one owes you anything. Don't expect the established & experienced to hold your hand, because honestly...they won't, so don't send that DM unless you're willing to compensate the individual for their IP. Otherwise, on your own? Sis? Bro? YOU CAN DO IT, research & practice till you get it right ✅
• HAVE A PLAN, HAVE A STRATEGY. I cannot stress that enough, even you have done that before and failed its ok. RE-STRATEGIZE, RESTRUCTURE the plan and once again, execute.
• There's something called trial & error, you won't get it right at the first go, it's called a teething phase, we all go through it. Even your fave big brands & influencers went through it, so it's OK🤍
Last be definitely not least, STAY HUMBLE🙂 See when you reach the top, which you will. Remember to STAY HUMBLE✨

What makes your service unique? What makes it stand out?
A lot of people seem to miss out on the real reason why consumers make use of our services. The real reason is simple, "convenience".
Let's be honest, people are able to cook for themselves. Be it cooking for a funeral, birthday, whatever the occasion may be. However, people are comfortable and happy to pay reliable service providers to get the job done for them.
Your responsibility as a service provider is to ensure that you really live up to expectation and live up to the term "convenient".
When I started Meals on Wheels, I wanted to offer convenience at its best, yes it wasn't perfect all the time because in business things aren't always perfect. Meals on Wheels is an amazing concept for any start up.
You'll, 1. Build fast clientele
2. Manage time better than you did before &
3. Maximize on profits 📈
