We are incredibly grateful that the Fynbos Trail was not affected by the recent fires in the Overberg, and that we can continue with business as usual. The trail remains open, and we are very much looking forward to welcoming hikers into the pristine fynbos and forest landscapes of the Walker Bay region.

We are so grateful to the firefighters and landowners whose dedication and coordinated efforts helped contain and extinguish the fires.

A spectacular seasonal highlight at Harold Porter!

The garden boasts the Red Disa (Disa uniflora) in its natural habitat, currently in full bloom at the Harold Porter National Botanical Garden in Betty’s Bay.
This iconic and rare wildflower can be seen growing along the streams at Leopardkloof Gorge / Disa Kloof Waterfalls, where cool, flowing water creates the perfect conditions for it to thrive.
Flowering season: early December to end of February only

📸 A must-see for nature lovers and photographers alike
Plan your visit and come experience one of nature’s true treasures while it’s in bloom!
