Chechil SA

Gert van der Westhuizen brought chechil cheese to South Africa. Chechil is salty, smoked, brine cheese and is very popular in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Caucasus. Thin strings are made by hand stretching of cheese curd into hair like fibers. Unusual taste and texture allows you to pair it up with beer or wine, use it as a food ingredient, explore it in new dishes.
