When PDC assumed office in partnership with other political parties, our goal was the full implementation of our organizational culture and manifesto.

Today almost four years on, this organization stands and is making progress in the interest of the people who elected it. Our participation as PDC remains to serve and make a difference.

While we may all have had our differences from time to time about the programme of action, we would like to start by thanking all the political parties today for their contribution to governance. It wasn't always easy, coalitions changed as it always happens with politics, coalitions will remain amongst us for a long time.

Without our collective ability to rise above the politics of parties we may not have been able to achieve what we have thus far. It's not where we want to be, but it's also not where we were.

The Council Chamber has been the place of vigorous debate over the last few months, all of which contributes to strengthening of governance in Bitou.

Understanding all these challenges, it is important that we work smartly with the limited resources at our disposal. Being an opposition councillor serving your organization require one to focus his attention on the priorities which are informed by the will of the people who one were elected to serve.

We are servants of the people. PDC have mistakes, no organization is perfect, we learn from our mistakes. Aslong as we move forward..
