On behalf of the REPS 2016 chairperson Prof Edson Meyer, the Project Team and UFH, we would like to thank all stakeholders, sponsors and our Government for supporting this Event. In deed the Deputy Minister of Human Settlements, the Deputy Director General of Science and Technology, Director General of Human Settlements and Vice Chancellor of UFH, Chairperson of SAIPPA Sisa Njikelana and former Minister of Housing Mama Mabandlagraced us with their presence and made a huge impact.
REPS 2016 through the Fort Hare Institute of Thechnology (FHIT) is now on it's way to piloting Postgraduate Student Housing at a bigger scale by building a Village which will house Postgraduate Students. These houses will of course run off the Grid.

Speaker: Mr Cebo Silinga is a Manager at the Technology Innovation Agency in the Energy division.
In this role, he manages the agency’s relationships with investees, focusing on meeting the clients’ challenges and objectives in project development, financing and risk management. He holds a Master of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering from Stellenbosch University.
