Bienvenidos a la presentación de las series fotográficas del último taller de fotografía participativa de From Inside. Esta vez hemos trabajado junto a un grupo de población penitenciaria en el barrio de La Soledad, en Palma de Mallorca. A partir de hoy iremos subiendo algunas de las fotografías realizadas por los alumnos.

Hoy le toca a Hassan, un hombre de origen marroquí cuyo tema elegido ha sido la libertad. Hassan ha querido contarnos las cosas que le hacen sentir libre después de salir de prisión, pero también las cosas que le hacen recordar que, durante mucho tiempo, no lo ha sido. La pulsera que lo mantiene conectado al sistema penitenciario y las verjas son su propia selección del día.

Welcome to the presentation of the photographic series from the latest participatory photography workshop by From Inside. This time, we worked with a group of prisoners in the La Soledad neighborhood, in Palma de Mallorca. Starting today, we will be posting some of the photographs taken by the participants.

Today, it's Hassan’s turn, a man of Moroccan origin whose chosen theme is freedom. Hassan wanted to share with us the things that make him feel free after leaving prison, but also the things that remind him that, for a long time, he wasn’t. The ankle bracelet that keeps him connected to the prison system and the bars are his own selection for the day.

Hoy le toca a Joan Toni, un hombre que ha querido documentar su anhelo por lo rural y su deseo por regresar a su aldea. El tránsito, el camino entre el pueblo y la ciudad, ha sido lo que le ha llevado a fotografiar su vida diaria durante dos semanas.

Today, it's Joan Toni’s turn, a man who wanted to document his longing for rural life and his desire to return to his village. The transition, the journey between the village and the city, is what led him to photograph his daily life for two weeks.
