As energy demands grew across the Intermountain West in the 1960s and 1970s, W.W. Clyde & Co. helped build the infrastructure behind one of Utah's most significant power projects—the Huntington Canyon Power Plant.

What began with the construction of Huntington Dam expanded into a massive, multi-year effort that included site preparation, substations, access roads, underground utilities, foundations, and a reservoir system designed to support plant operations.

At its peak, more than 450 crew members worked on the project, moving nearly one million square yards of earth to help bring the facility to life.

50 years later, the impact of that work continues—powering communities, strengthening regional connections, and standing as a testament to the people who helped build it.
