Mabuhay from Monaco! The Philippines Takes the Global Stage.

NAMRIA is back on the international hydrographic scene as our delegation represents the country at the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) Assembly in the beautiful Principality of Monaco.

With the steadfast support of NAMRIA Administrator Usec. Peter N. Tiangco, PhD, CESO I, our team returns to in-person participation at a historic moment. The Philippines now proudly sits not only as a regular member but as an active Member of the IHO Council, the executive organ that guides the organization's strategic direction between Assemblies.

As the highest decision-making body of the IHO, this gathering brings together 104 nations to set the global agenda for hydrography, nautical charting, and ocean mapping.
