Every time I cut my hair it’s an adventure!
From the start, to the middle seen here, and then onto the finished product
Both literally & figuratively a weight gets lifted
I feel refreshed & renewed
As much as so many hate to see the long hair go
There’s something I like about the journey of going shorter & again letting it grow
So enjoy the in-betweens
The moments of new
But also the growth that exists within you
for the past, present, & future too

A calm moment of reflection
A balancing act of introspection
What is it that I see?
What is it that people see in me?
Am I on the path towards who I want to be?

Where is it I want to go?
What is the next seed I want to sow?
Music?
Acting?
To travel & bring the world into your home?

So many questions are constantly circling me
Ideas always brewing & stewing inside
But trapped I always seem to feel
Like a reflection
Trapped on the other side
Always to only be…
