Zabe Fails

I saw an amazing show (3rd time) and found a new (to me) incroyable band in the opener Model/Actriz. It was a perfect night, much enjoyed by myself and the best of friends and advocates,

My journey along the path of coping with and receiving help for an illness based in severe pain has been a struggle. I have faced a lot of prejudice as a result of things written in my health file which has led many doctor’s to take as cause to issue a statement, dismissal or diagnosis equivalent to “It’s all in your head.” I feel today that I have lit a tiny candle of hope: I have a doctor who cares beyond trying one test, giving up and saying “IAIYH!” (It’s all in your head).

No, my new ***r doctor who actually found a pain medication that stops my movements entirely, proving that it’s a pain-based condition and not a movement new disorder. He made this breakthrough because of his revolutionary technique: he listened to me. 🎆

Not everything I solved, of course, but I feel better today. ☺️
