I am delighted to announce that I have received funding from Allwyn, the operator of The National Lottery, as part of the ChangeMakers initiative!

This funding will support the launch of a Mixed Ability Rowing project this year at Leeds Rowing Club with the support of Love Rowing.

Mixed Ability Sport includes people facing a whole range of barriers to participation and brings them together to play sports and learn from each other, giving everyone the opportunity to fulfil their potential both on and off the water!

I personally feel very lucky to have found Rowing and to have experienced the sports impact on my life. To then have the opportunity to pursue my dreams of competing at a Paralympic Games supported by TNL was a privilege. Now, thanks to the support of the ChangeMakers initiative, I hope to share the impact of the sport with people who may never have considered rowing as an option.
