On Thursday 25 June 2026, our Academic Director Jade Lawless was presented with the Middlesex University Medal, one of the highest honours the university bestows, in recognition of her extraordinary contribution to education, counselling and psychotherapy in Ireland.
Under Jade's leadership over the past eight years, student registrations at PCI College have doubled, four new MSc programmes have been introduced, and counselling and psychotherapy training has been expanded to regions across Ireland. Removing geographical barriers and opening doors for students who might otherwise never have had access to professional education in this field.
Beyond PCI College, Jade serves as Chair of the IACP - Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy shaping national professional standards and advocating for the future of counselling and psychotherapy regulation in Ireland.
