But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

God is the ultimate demonstration of unconditional love: allowing his perfect Son to die in our place. He did this knowing that many would never believe in him, and that we would fall short daily. But to him we were all worth it. He did it out of his abundant incomprehensible love for us.

So let this be your daily reminder, that there is a God that loves you and cares for you. His love shows up in many forms: a kiss from a dog, the hug of a friend, a warm meal from your parents, a smile from a stranger, even failed plans are often his protection.

You are loved, and to know His love in this lifetime, and to share it with others, now that is true riches!
