Cascade AIDS Project

“I had an absolute blast at Boom Arts Presents by Kristina Wong at Portland Center Stage!
This show examines the food bank industrial complex through wit, humorous parody songs, and education. Kristina expertly takes you on a journey through these complex topics while giving sass, humor, and twists and turns. I cannot recommend this show enough. Melissa Clayton and I laughed our faces off. Go see this show! I promise you will love it.
Shoutout to for inviting me to be a post-show panelist with OFB President Andrea Williams, Dom from .lovedbloc, Tracy Cameron Francis, and herself.
We had a lot of great questions about the work that we do, how we see food insecurity in Oregon, and how we are meeting that change. The audience had thoughtful questions about the SNAP crisis, how organizations intend to move forward, and how folks can get involved.
Grateful to have the support of Cascade AIDS Project Ambassador Council members Melissa Clayton and Jess Daly, along with Joy and our friend Evan Keith Strandberg.“
