"We are calling on the government to conduct a fair, transparent, and lawful investigation of all those allegedly involved, so that the guilty may be held accountable and the stolen public funds recovered.

The Iglesia Ni Cristo does not support any attempt to overthrow the government. From the beginning, we have upheld respect for lawful authority, as taught in the Bible.

In addressing the nation’s problems, we must uphold the laws and the Constitution. We oppose any unconstitutional means such as revolution, coup d’état, snap election, or civilian-military junta, especially those that may lead to violence. What must be removed are corrupt leaders—not the government that upholds citizens’ freedom.

The Iglesia Ni Cristo stands for peace, so that we may continue to freely serve and worship God."
