Our phonics after school club was full of fun! ⚽📚👽

The children loved taking part in phonics football, speedy phonics races and reading alien words.
A big gust of wind even created a “phonics tornado” and sent our alien words swirling all around the playground! 🌪️

The children had so much fun chasing, reading and collecting the alien words. A brilliant way to practise decoding through play!

Miss Howarth is so proud of Year 1 EH for their fantastic diary entries based on Lost and Found! ✏️📚 The children worked hard to use new conjunctions in their writing and showed great creativity and confidence. Well done, Year 1 EH! 🌟
