Meet the Artist of

Caro Pepe (born in Corrientes, Argentina, 1980) is an Argentinian artist and muralist currently based in Berlin.

After several years working as an art director in the advertising industry in Buenos Aires and Madrid, she made the decision to fully dedicate herself to her artistic practice. In 2012, she relocated to Berlin, a move that marked the beginning of her international career. Since then, her work has taken her across the globe, creating murals in public spaces and participating in exhibitions throughout Europe, South America, the United States, and Asia.

“My work explores the emotional complexity of human beings through female figures that embody both vulnerability and strength. My aim is to create images that invite contemplation and offer space for emotional resonance.”

Meet the Artist of

Born in Lithuania and now splitting my time between Berlin and Klaipeda, I am an oil painter dedicated to figurative art.

My work is a form of “homework”, a disciplined study in uncovering beauty within my immediate world. By painting fractured, tired or decayed objects and emotions often dismissed as “ugly”, I perform an anatomy of the self and my surroundings. I view these canvases as confessional self-portraits; they are a chronological record of me dissecting my own mind and feelings to isolate what truly matters, ultimately serving as a radical pursuit of beauty in my life.
