Before we do anything, let’s just relax. Breathe in through our nose, out through our mouth. Go ahead...

Then let us ask ourselves: why? Why practice mindfulness? What benefits is it actually going to yield?

Allow your mind to consider the day-to-day activities we consistently perform. How many of them receive our complete and genuine attention? When we practice mindfulness, it’s not so much that we’re generating calm, peace and happiness from the get-go. No, let’s simplify it and call it what it is: we are paying attention. Deliberately. There are a myriad of benefits from the art of mindfulness (among them calm, peace and happiness!) but something of even greater significance comes first - we are willingly able to silence our chattering monkey mind and bring our focused attention onto one. single. thing.

As we continue, we’ll lean into the World of Mindfulness, and discover how we can make use of this phenomenon, DAILY.
