10 minute standing Hip Strength & Mobility workout with a resistance loop ✨
This sequence is great if…
-Your hips feel tight
-You feel wobbly and easily loose balance when lunging or standing on one leg
-You glutes feel week
When you strengthen your hips in all planes of motion, it helps alleviate overactive hip flexors, & improve dynamic balance and postural stability 🙌
Make sure to try the last slide → at the end of the sequence after all of the others. Your hips will immediately feel looser 🙌
15-20 x each move…
(1) Hip Extension: straight leg kickbacks + mini squat kickback
(2) Hip flexion: straight leg lifts + mini squat to tabletop
(3) Hip abduction: straight leg side kicks + mini squat to side kick
(4) Squat side kicks alternating
(5) Squat side kicks no band + deep squat stretch

💡 You can use a pilates box, a yoga block or a regular stair step + a wall or countertop to hold on to. Anything to give you a little elevation off the floor so that you can maintain pelvic alignment.

This sequence comes from a few clips of one of classes. All you need is a 9 inch stability ball, and light weights…
(1) Bent leg rollup + fly
(2)Partial rollup, one arm fly + row with twist
(3) One arm press + seated spine twist
(4) Double leg stretch variations
(5) Butterfly stretch + heart opener 🦋
Ps, you can also try these moves with a resistance band wrapped around your feet as I demo in recent post. Let me know how it goes!
Full Body Core Strength & Length 🔥
Just added this new 20 min guided “Sculpt Circuit” to my Solshine library ☀️. Catered to all levels.
I love this flow because it strengthens the stabilizers, arms and entire core, and leaves you feeling really balanced.
Move with slow control. 10 reps each:
(1) Frog leg lift + tricep pushup (inner thighs & triceps).
(2) One arm press + seated squat (quads & shoulders)
(3) Bird dog variation + tricep kickback (triceps & full body stability)
(4) Weight pass off in low or high plank (Full body strength & stability)
(5) Kneeling side lying variation (obliques, arms, shoulder & hips stability)
(6) Kneeling lateral flexion (obliques, hip stability)
(7) Kneeing side twist and lift ( side body stability, obliques, inner thighs)
(8) Swimming variation (back extensors, shoulder stabilizers, glutes)
