File work done. Now, this gyuto need a proper polishing.
For this knife I used very special wrought iron and Tamahagane steel for the core. There are so many details on this steel I could barely focus on griding...

Last months was very difficult, flooded shop, finantial problems etc,.

My lates process and resoults. All small pieces of that can't be forge are collected and resmelt. Process requires special type of focus and colour of the flames can tell you everything.
Cross section after breaking steel shows carbon content around 1.2%
