Last Saturday morning, we had a great chance to meet so many cool people who are keen on software development and love to connect to other for interesting stories and experience.

With the topic of scaling projects, organization and business, we had shared each other the valued experience on what we got insight in life thanks to our awesome speakers:

Mr. Michael Nguyen, Project Manager from NFQ Asia with the topic named “Scaling with Scrum”

Mr. Hung Ho, Director of Rikkeisoft Da Nang branch, shared about “The power of subculture”

And Ms. Trang Hanh Tran, CEO of Enouvo IT Solutions and her talk about “How Enouvo scales their business model”

We are proud to announce that Mr. Ho Nguyen Quoc Hung, Director or the Da Nang branch of Rikkeisoft, will give a talk about scaling organizations at our live networking event on 27 February. Here is what he learnt about scaling organizations:

"In fact, when scaling up my company, I encountered many difficulties in building processes, on how to operate a team with many members. However, those things can be learned and learned quickly.

On the contrary, what I have found is that in the software industry, people management and team cultural linkages take the company the most time. Especially when the organization is larger, more and more small groups, with different views, habits, ages, and regions.

For small groups to work effectively, collaborate and live with other groups, to create a strong team, it is essential to understand the culture of an organization.

Those people have formed views of life, thinking, including emotions as a miniature society. Living in that environment helps them feel confident and happy. Their motivation to work is the subculture of the group they belong to. Not the culture of the organization.

All processes and resources are in place, why can't everyone work together? Are you confident in knowing what your co-workers are thinking? Being able to understand this clearly helps us to better govern people and make the team stronger."
