*A Call to Spiritual Awakening in Our Territory*

Recently, a crime summit was held with the goal of sensitizing our people about the rising crimes in our nation and finding ways to combat them. However, just days after the summit, our town was shaken by a robbery that left a young person in critical condition.

It is becoming clear that despite the Government’s efforts, there is a deeper reality we continue to ignore: the things of the spirit cannot be addressed through the flesh. Scripture reminds us that “the carnal mind cannot understand the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him” (1 Corinthians 2:14).

What our territory needs now is not just more meetings, policies, or strategies, but fasting, prayer, intercession, deliverance, and true repentance before God. The Lord is calling us, just as He called Israel, to “return to Me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning” (Joel 2:12).

Have we gone so far that the Lord can no longer hear us? Or is He patiently waiting for us to humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways? (2 Chronicles 7:14). The truth remains: “The heart of man is desperately wicked” (Jeremiah 17:9), and until there is a transformation of the heart, crime and violence will only continue to grow.

Now is the time for our people to rise, not with weapons or words, but with repentant hearts and spiritual warfare. Only then can true peace and restoration come to our land.
