Forget-me-not

Forget-me-nots can be found in almost all parts of the world: in Europe, Asia, South Africa, America and New Zealand. There are about 50 types of these flowers. Usually forget-me-nots grow in shady areas with moist soil, in glades. But some species (for example, marsh forget-me-not) can also be found on the shores of swamps, reservoirs and along streams.

Forget-me-nots are mostly small annual or perennial herbaceous plants. The height of the stem varies between 10 and 40 cm. Forget-me-not flowers are small. The typical color for them is blue, but sometimes you can also see pink and white flowers collected in inflorescences. Forget-me-not has sessile leaves. This plant blooms in late spring and early summer, namely from May to mid-June. The forget-me-not also has fruits - these are small triangular-oval nuts, shiny and smooth. Forget-me-nots (their fruits) retain their similarity for 2-3 years.
