Some marriages end in divorce.
That's life.
But the real test? Trusting that your former spouse will choose someone who will love your child as their own. ππΎ
For a moment, that was scary. (IYKYK π)
But then something clicked β and thankfully, an amazing woman entered, as the kids say... the chat. π¬ Lynette, thank you for opening your heart to Jae. This weekend was a labor of love β and your ex*****on was flawless. I see you. We see you.
Now this is the part where I'm supposed to say something nice about their big head daddy π... Good job giving out orders, Keith Edwards- KC. π
In all seriousness β I am so grateful for how far we've come on this journey.
Co-parenting has its challenges.
But my first priority has always been: what about the kids? They didn't ask for life to change. So let's keep things as normal and routine as possible. Let's protect their peace.
On this journey I caught a lot of flack from the opinions of others on what I should or shouldnβt do. π€·πΎββοΈ
Today I want to challenge every co-parent reading this β

Always do what's best for the children. β
It is not their job to manage our feelings and emotions.

We cannot use our children as weapons.
